Smoking and Vaping Cessation Clinic

The Woolcock's Smoking and Vaping Cessation Clinic is designed for people of all ages - adolescents and adults; referred by a medical professional or self-referred.

It is run by Professor Renee Bittoun, a clinical academic in smoking cessation and nicotine addiction for more than 35 years and world expert in the field.

The programme is confidential, with no groups and personalised one-on-one appointments (via Zoom by arrangement) to help you quit.

There's no need to quit on the first appointment.

THE NICOTINE CESSATION CLINIC PROGRAMME

  • Weekly appointments for a minimum of 6 weeks
  • First appointment - l hour - Assessment of niicotine addiction, includes some breath (expired co) and saliva tests, all non-invasive; Initiation of a cessation plan, behavioural and other treatment advice
  • Second appointment - 1/2 hour - Overview of progress, breath and saliva tosts, evaluation and adjustments of plan
  • Third to fifth appointments - As above, adjustments as needed
  • Sixth appointment - 1/2 hour to 1 hr - Review and final assossmont as appropriate
  • Fees - Health funds may reimburse, Medicare in Care Plan
