Sleep Myths and Expectations

So called "good sleep" is often seen as spending most of night in Deep Sleep with no wakes. The truth is that it is normal to spend most of the night in relatively light sleep and wake 2-9 times, depending on our age. By understanding what normal sleep is, we can reduce the pressure of inaccurate sleep expectations and learn how to sleep better. 

This brochure dispels the myths and explains what normal sleep is - for younger people and as we age.
