Dr House graduated with a PhD from the University of Sydney and is a researcher at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. She has a research interest in people with allergic rhinitis and improving their management, especially in a pharmacy setting.

Dr House is currently doing her research within the Clinical Management Group (Quality Use of Respiratory Medicines) and is involved the Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma (ARIA) Group (Europe).

She also continues to mentor research students to help them achieve their research aspirations.
