Professor Black has changed the thinking around the role of the airway smooth muscle in asthma. Leading by example and generously helping others to achieve success in their careers, Professor Black has been instrumental in fostering a unique environment within the Woolcock. She has fostered an environment where there is a culture of giving back and helping others to succeed.
