Medical Receptionist (multiple positions available)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic professional to become an integral part of our patient-facing reception and administration team. You will be integral to providing excellent administrative and reception services and supporting our specialist clinicians in delivering high quality care to our patients. You will thrive in a busy, patient-first environment and working with a friendly reception team.

Responsibilities 

  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors on arrival at the reception desk
  • Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and email enquiries
  • Appointment bookings and referrals in person and by phone
  • Patient billing, payments, and updating files
  • General administrative and reception desk duties 

About you

  • Exceptional customer service skills 
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to juggle high volume incoming calls
  • Confident and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • An eye for detail 
  • Professional presentation 
  • Computer literacy

Experience

  • Experience as a medical receptionist and/or administrator in a clinical/health setting
  • Practice management software proficiency
