As Medical Director, you will provide clinical guidance, leadership, and direction to clinic management and staff, ensuring that clinical regulatory requirements are met and complied with. This opportunity will see you responsible for representing clinicians and their practices in regular executive meetings. 

This position is part-time (0.2 FTE).

About you

  • Guide and lead clinical management and staff 
  • Advise on clinical regulatory requirements and ensure compliance 
  • Leadership and demonstration of team-based behaviours and tendencies
  • Represent clinicians and their practice in regular executive meetings 

What you bring

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a medical practitioner 
  • Vocational registration as a sleep medicine practitioner recognised by the Commonwealth Department of Health
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and procedural guidelines
  • Demonstrated experience with the appointment and credentialing of medical, dental, and Allied Health staff 
  • Extensive clinical governance and risk management experience
