Give the gift of time for respiratory and sleep studies

Every year the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research undertakes dozens of research studies in respiratory and sleep medicine. These studies investigate new drug treatments or devices, such as CPAP machines, and can also study new uses for existing drugs, new doses or new treatment combinations, or compare existing standard treatments. For these studies we need both healthy and volunteers.

By becoming a volunteer you will:

  • Gain access to new treatments before they are available to the general public
  • Obtain expert medical care at a leading edge research centre
  • Have a sense of empowerment from becoming well-informed about your illness and play an active part in your own health care
  • Help others in the future by participating in the research effort

If you would like to become a volunteer and register on our database for future studies please complete this form and return to
