Tuberculosis Research Day
Friday, 5th March 2010
8.30am – 5.00pm

Are you a clinician, scientist, or a public health professional in the field of Tuberculosis? If you are then this could be for you. The Woolcock Institute would like to invite you to join this meeting and realise the opportunities and the untapped collaborations that are available. Research in tuberculosis is multi-disciplinary and, within Sydney, exists in several different centres involving clinicians and scientists who do not routinely cross paths. Potentially there are untapped opportunities for collaboration and synergy. The primary aim of this meeting is to realise those opportunities.

The day will begin with a keynote address from Dr Dick Menzies from the Montreal Chest Clinic. Dr Menzies is a TB clinician and researcher who has undertaken an extensive body of work aiming to improve the capacity of clinicians and public health physicians to control TB. This will be followed by presentations and discussion from each of the research groups.
